Zone
with an area of 10,000 hectares of developmental lands,
established in 1998 with the objective of exploiting the South
Pars field’s Oil and Gas along with related activities, and is
positioned approximately 100 kilometers from Qatar Northern
Dome. The reserve of gas in this field is about 450 trillion
cubic feet, equal to 8% of the world’s gas reserves and the
share of Iran from this field is estimated 13130 trillion
cubic meters, which is about 48% of local identified gas
reserves.
