Persian Gulf Container Line (PCL)
Commercial directorate of IRISL has
been organized into different departments according to their
origins, destination, volume and type of cargoes, enabling IRISL
to satisfy customer needs. The main activities of commercial
directorate is detailed as below:
A) Shipment of
bulk cargoes or tramp services offered in two departments:
- Regional Bulk
Department (RBD)
- International
Bulk Department (IBD)
B) Liner services are offered in
four departments:
- Persian Gulf
Container Line (PCL)
- Persian Gulf,
Far East, Australia Line (PJL)
- Europe
Container Line (ECL)
- Europe, Persian
Gulf Line & Africa,
South America, Persian Gulf Line (PEL/PAL)
This line as part
of liner services of IRISL operates 10 container vessels with
total capacity of 20586 teus.
The services of
PCL is performed in 2 separate loops as below:
Loop 1: Shanghai,
Kwangyang (S. Korea), Busan, Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Hong Kong, Dubai,
Bandar Abbas.
Loop2: Singapore,
Port Klang, Dubai, Bandar Abbas.
‑IRISL world wide
agency network help PCIL to provide a satisfactory and reliable
service to costumers.
This line also
provides following services:
- Shipment of
containers to Khoramshahr ,
Bandar imam Khomeini and bushehr.
- Shipment of
containers to all Asian and
Persian Gulf ports in transshipment form.
- Feedering
services in Persian Gulf,
inter‑Iranian ports and central Asian countries.
- Active presence
in international market.
- Provides advise
to costumers.
A growth of 38%
within last year shows customers satisfaction and trust which can
only be the outcome of good services.
The number of
containers shipped from Asia to Iran by PCL during last year has
increased by 25% which shows IRISL as the best choice for shipment
of containers to Iran. |

Commercial

PEL/PAL operates
between 15 to 18 general cargo ships with a gross deadweight of
about 310000 tons with regular liner/tramp services to and from
European countries, Mediterranean, Black Sea, Baltic, Adriatic,
African continent, South American countries and Canada.
The services of
PEL/PAL are provided to customers in following categories: Europe
Route: Regular Liner service to Antwerp, Hamburg, Bremen, Bilbao,
Venizia, Geneva, Ravenna, South American Route: Tramp Service to
America. African Route: Tramp service to Africa.

PEL/PAL ship cargoes such as
general cargoes, steel products, raw material, chemical heavy
lifts, long length cargoes, and out of guage cargo as well as
containers. Permanent representatives and agents in all ports
enables this department to provide first class service to
customers and project managers.

PEL/PAL provides following
services:

Door to door express service.
-
Delivering cargoes at Bandar Abbas,
Bandar Imam Khomeini, Bushehr, Assaluyah.

Liner services to other Persian Gulf
ports,
subject to inducement.

Transit services to all Iranian
cities and central
Asian countries through main
-
Iranian ports.
- Transport
consultancy to project managers.

Shipment of project cargoes.
-
Shipment of heavy lift and O.O.G. by
owned and chartered vessels.
The quality of
services provided by this department has caused 486816 Metric Tons
increase in total lifted cargo within last year which shows 30%
Increase. This is a logical proof of the customers satisfaction
and trust. |

Europe Container Line (ECL)

to satisfy the needs of customers. The main activities of

This line as part of liner services
of IRISL operates 9 containers carriers with a capacity of 13000
TEU. This line handles containers in Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean,
Red Sea, Mediterraneans and North Europe and provides weekly
services for following ports:
Bandar Abbas, Dubai, Naples, main
ports of Libya, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Valencia and Jeddah.
This line handles 20 FT and 40 FT
containers including F.R, H.Q, G.P., O.T and Ref Containers.

help ECL to provide a satisfactory and Reliable service to
costumers.
This line also provides following
services:
- Shipment of containers into
Khoramshahr , Bandar Imam Khomeini and Bushehr.
- Shipment of containers to all
European and Persian Gulf ports in transshipment form.

and into Iran and central Asian countries.

A growth of 38% within lost year
shows costumers satisfaction and trust which can only be the

from Europe into Iran by ECL during last year has increased by 40%
which shows that IRISL is the best choice for shipment of
