Background
As Iran’s first private
bank since the 1979, EN Bank was established in August 2001 under the
newly revised licensing and supervisory functions of the Central Bank of
Iran aimed at modernizing Iran’s banking sector on the basis of
increasingly unregulated and competitive markets.
