Behran Oil Company was established in 1962 as the largest private joint venture with the Esso Company in Iran.
At the beginning, the production facilities were limited to one blending and filling plant of engine oils. After the Islamic Revolution, the company became totally independent from Esso, a new management system was incorporated and was selected as the brand name.
Through the following years, the Company expanded its operation to lube oil refining for production of motor oils and industrial lubricants, which are essential components in the performance of today’s industry.
Recently, the refining capacity has been extended, consequently the production rate has increased to over 130,000 tons/year, meanwhile the quality of the products has been upgraded according to the appropriate advanced international standards and guidelines.

Behran Oil Company has been progressively increasing its commitment in the field of lubricant production technology through considerable investment in research and development.
The development of Behran activities resulted in the development of a new plant for the production of special lubricants and antifreeze.
