Petropars Ltd. (PPL), a British Virgin Islands (BVI) based company, is the first Iranian
General Contractor in the fields of Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.

The South Pars North Dome Gas Field, which is jointly owned by Islamic Republic of IRAN and State of Qatar, is the largest non-associated gas fields of the world.
Considering the uncommon extent of the field and its huge reserve of gas, condensate and other products, the field can constitute a major and reliable source of clean energy for the regional countries and the world.
According to the latest seismic surveys and exploratory drillings the field covers an area of 3,700 square Km and contains 437 TCF of gas.
National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has prepared a phased out development plan for this gas field. Development plan for each phase is based on 1000 MMSCF/day production.
Petropars Ltd has been awarded the contracts for development of 6 phases out of the existing 8 phases of the development.

Ongoing Projects :

South Pars Gas Field Development - Phase 1

Products : 1,000 MMSCF/day treated gas + 40,000 Barrels/day of gaseous condensate.
Contract : 1.02 Billion US$, Completion September 2002.
Management : Petropars Ltd. / Kvaerner E&C joint management team.
Foreign Contractors : Daelim, Samsung, CCC.
Iranian Contractors : Mapna, Sadra, IDRO, IOEC, Abej, Paysaz.

South Pars Gas Field Development - Phase 4,5
Products : 2,000 MMSCF/day treated gas + 80,000 Barrels/day of gaseous condensate + 2880 Tons/day LPG + 70 MMSCF/day of Ethane.
Contract : 4.0 Billion US$, Completion July 2005.
Management : AGIP (60%) Operator / Petropars Ltd. (40%) joint venture.

South Pars Gas Field Development - Phase 6,7,8

Products : 3,000 MMSCF/day treated gas + 120,000 Barrels/day
of gaseous condensate + 3,300 Tons/day LPG.
Contract : 5.0 Billion US$, Completion January 2006.
Management : Petropars Ltd. / Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd joint
management team.
Partner : Enterprise of 20 % equity partner.
