No Massive Development
I dont think
that the free trade zones of Iran are in need of a massive development. If only we are
able to remove hurdles in the way, these zones will automatically reach a desired level of
development.
Hussein
Nasiri, Secretary of
the High Council of Iranian Free Zones |
Economy Sacrificed
Iran sacrificed
economy for the sake of culture and politics, and later sacrificed politics for the sake
of culture. That is the cause of our economic weakness.

Starting from Trade
With the visits of
Iranian and British officials, things are accelerating in the trade field and trade is
leading to better political relations, too. We will ask our government to put Iran on the
agenda of WTO.

British-Iranian Chamber of Commerce |
Expanding Beyond TSE
Our outlook of the
future must be a global one, going beyond our limited capital market. Irans only
official capital market is the TSE which does not measure up to the standards of even the
newly developed countries.
