NPC’s 12 Mandates
 |
|
NPC will not only encourage collective participation
of staff in all operations, but also advocate regional cooperation to
widen its scope of sustainable development. |
The National Petrochemical Company of
Iran has based its values and visions on two fundamental slogans: "Diversity,
Creativity, Prosperity" and "Development for Better Life".
The crucial mission of turning an
industry into a means of national development not only demands indefatigable
effort, but also necessitates a carefully-devised set of instructions to which
all parts of the system would be committed.
The profitability, modern management,
high productivity, increased market share, fruitful partnership and
environment-friendly production that NPC has targeted are in fact ambitions
that will be achieved only through disciplined activities.
A recent set of guidelines issued by NPC
President Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh will illuminate the path. Here are 12
instructions now appearing on the walls of every NPC affiliate:
-
Sustainable development on a global
economic scale
-
Exerting efforts for continual
improvement, boosting efficiency and optimal performance of subsidiaries
-
Designing, commissioning and updating
comprehensive planning systems for operation, information and supervision
-
Optimization and improvement of
executive systems of projects
-
Improving the systems that would
support and monitor the affiliate companies
-
Enhancement of marketing, sales,
engineering services and after-sales services
-
Expansion of R&D to achieve
technological superiority and develop the most-needed technologies
-
Encouraging the participation of staff
in all activities to boost productivity
-
Recruiting, training and maintaining
skilled human resources
-
Coordination, cooperation and
partnership with regional peers
-
Commissioning and delivering
productive units to the private sector
-
Emphasizing maximum utilization and
promotion of local capabilities in technical, engineering, industrial and
executive aspects
