Third Iran Petrochemical Forum | Summit 2001

Privileged for the Third Time

"Tomorrow is here." This was the vision we had in mind when we started spreading the news that Iran International would follow its two-year tradition in producing a special post-event publication on Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF).

Yesterday, experts who were closely watching Iran’s development believed that tomorrow, petrochemical sector would be a pioneer in internationalization of Iranian industries. We believe that tomorrow is here.

Iran International Special Publication on Iran Petrochemical Forum is now as old, yet as young, as IPF. For months, a number of hardworking people tried to establish contacts, enhance relations and promote an essential partnership. And finally comes the event they have heralded all along. Two days of back-to-back sessions, speeches and meetings and a third day of strolling around the country. After IPF winds up, we know that our job has just begun.

It has been a privilege to be associated with a forum of such notable caliber for the third time. What comes in the following pages is our version of a lively petrochemical dialogue. Our acknowledgement to organizers, NPC and IICIC, is also dedicated to all those who put national welfare above all.

Year in, Year out

Gray hair, thick glasses, wrinkled foreheads, but smiling faces. That is a combination of the years and years of service with a feeling of achievement that comes after.

At the end of the day, what remains is more precious than agreements on paper: it is lasting ties.
