A Window, A River, A Heart. This is the title of a book to be published by Iran International on the
occasion of EXPO 2000 which is to be a miniature of the world in the 21
st century.

There are many nice country profiles; those coffee table books showing breath-taking pictures of a country’s nature and people. However, to represent a country that boasts a history of human achievements, thousands of years of civilization, rich culture and epics of self-sacrifice, the job and the responsibility is critical. You have to be full of passion and ambition. Obviously, no book can contain all aspects of the past, present and future of a country like Iran.

A number of the world’s outstanding writers, journalists and photographers have joined in endeavors to introduce Iran, a country that is changing dramatically. You feel the urge to show Iranians, their laptops and cell phones, but you can’t ignore those ancient tools. You insist on showing high-rises of Tehran, but it is not fair to overlook those centuries-old cisterns.

Concurrent with Iran’s participation in EXPO 2000, Iran International will present an interpretation of the world exposition theme: Humankind, Nature, Technology. Throughout centuries, many things have changed in Iran. But windows, rivers and hearts are still the same: always ready to offer their wealth.

Iran International welcomes sponsors willing to be associated with this endeavor. Sponsorship opportunity is open until April 19, 2000.
