Sanctions Make Iranian Oil Industry Stronger |
Representative
of the Swiss company, SCHEF, announced that international sanctions have made
Iranian oil industry gradually stronger.
Speaking
to SHANA news agency on the sidelines of the 16th International
Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Exhibition, he added that Western sanctions have
constantly made the Iranian oil industry more robust.
Confirming remarks made by the Iranian first vice president, Mohammad Reza
Rahimi, about increased capability of the Iranian oil industry following
intensification of sanctions, he stated that sanctioning Iran will help the
country develop modern technologies and the Iranian oil industry will continue
to progress and catch up with international oil and gas majors.
Representative of the Swiss company also confirmed the Iranian first vice
president, Mohammad Reza Rahimi’s complaint about not supplying fuel to
Iranian planes at the European airports and added that his company was ready
to solve that problem.
“We are negotiating with Iran Air and Mahan Air companies and if they accepted
our conditions, we could supply them with needed fuel in European flights,” he
said. |
